Si Gov. Matugas kanhi DepEd Regional Director, ug nag-alagad sa edukasyon sulod sa 43 ka tuig, nagklaro nga ang edukasyon maoy Prayoridad sa iyang administrasyon.

Sumala ni Gov. matugas, gawas sa P6,000 kada bulan nga suweldo, ang magtutudlo may P1,000 usab nga chalk allowance.

“We have allocated P4 million worth of funds for the Local School Board. What I did with the money is that I created 82 positions and I raised their salaries from P3,000 to P6,000 and every December under my watch they will receive a chalk allowance amounted to P1,000,” sulti ni Matugas sa PIA report.
